Senior Pastor - Rev’d Jon Haines
Jon and Gaby and their children moved to Leipzig in the summer of 2022 from England, having served in churches in Eastbourne and London. Before ordination, Jon’s career took him from drumming to corporate finance. He has swum with sharks, almost shared a stage with The Killers and managed to learn three dead languages. Alongside the elders, Jon leads LEC, with a particular focus on the morning service. He loves seeing people find their identity in Jesus and hopes you will find a home at LEC.
Assistant Pastor - Larry Norman
Larry Norman has been serving Leipzig English Church since 2015. He has a particular focus on the evening service and student ministry, as well as the InterAction Germany youth camp. He is also involved in Evangelium 21 and the Jungpredigerworkshop. He is married to Sinead, and dad to Zoe and Eden. Larry loves old books, fresh coffee and helping people enjoy Jesus through his word.

Mit unseren Wurzeln in der anglikanischen Tradition wollen wir eine Kirche sein, wo sich jeder Mensch jedes Hintergrunds zu Hause fühlen kann. Viele Menschen geben uns Rückmeldung von der warmherzigen und freundlichen Atmosphäre in den Sonntagsgottesdiensten und genießen die Mischung aus Altem und Neuem, aus Traditionellem und Modernem.
